the programme :
One of the principal objectives of this training
program is to impart industry orientation training/education
to the fresh graduates from the Colleges/Universities,
aspiring to build their career in pharmaceutical industry. This program also caters to the needs of employees of pharmaceutical companies to update their knowledge pertaining to recent developments and to give a different perspective from industry experts.
The duration of course is four weeks
and include series of class room sessions by recognized
experts from the pharmaceutical industries (Bangalore
based), practical demonstrations/hands on exposure in
industrial set-up, and interactive work-shop on industrial
operations including research and development (formulation
& bulk drugs), manufacturing, quality management,
regulatory affairs, supply-chain/customer management,
and human-resource development.
At the end of this training program,
the participants are expected to undergo transition
of being matured to undertake industry employment as
a career option and should be able to easily induct
in the job and perform significantly better than a fresh
university graduate. As far as the employees of the companies who undergo this training, have improved understanding of their role in the organisation.
In order to address the current needs of the industry, the institute is launching six more programs especially designed for fresh Pharmacy, Science and Management graduates and also a functional specific module for existing employees of pharma companies.
